The Dabović household and winery are located in the picturesque village Nudo, where Mediterranean and continental climates mix, the sun shines for over 2,200 hours a year, and nature and fertile land contribute to the abundance of fruits and the production of the highest quality autochthonous varieties of wine.
Winery Dabović is the only one in Montenegro that produces wines with a protected geographical origin. Wines from this winery are consumed all over the world and international awards for quality come from all the prestigious international fairs.
In addition to the highest quality wines, in this household you can also taste various brandies made from fruit, medicinal herbs that thrive in this area in untouched nature and forest fruits liqueurs whose smell and taste have a beneficial effect on your senses. On your request, the hosts will prepare traditional specialties for you from organic raw materials. Therefore, with good food, good wines and brandies, your experience will be complete. Working in the vineyard can be a challenge, especially during the grape harvest that is a special event on this estate.
If you want to get familiar with the area, the hosts will provide you with a short walk, a bike ride, a visit to the Grahovo lake or a tour of important cultural and historical monuments.
AVAILABILITY
Grahovo is a small town located in Grahovsko field which belongs to the municipality of Nikšić. Bijela Gora and Mount Orjen rise above the fields and contribute to the beauty of the landscape. The field covers an area of 6.4km² and it is 7km long and 1.5km wide. The altitude of the field is 695-780 meters. It is open towards the Risan Bay, from which it is 6.5km away. The Grahovska River flows through it. The Grahovsko Lake was formed on it and is surrounded by centuries-old forest that contributes to the overall pleasant feeling of visitors.

Memorial Commemorative Park
The memorial park is located in the center of the small town of Grahovo. The central object inside the memorial park is a figurative sculptural composition in the form of a moving column, at the head of which is the figure of Sava Kovačević. The composition is made of bronze and it is 7m high. The national hero Sava Kovačević was born in the nearby town Nudo. In this place, on July 13, 1941, he led the Grahovo partisans in an attack on the occupying forces and disarmed the enemy column. The wider spatial concept contains sculptural elements i.e. 272 cubes inscribed with the names of fallen soldiers in the Second World War from that region.
Obelisk - monument dedicated to the winners from Grahovac in 1858
The Battle of Grahovac had great military and political results for Montenegro. At the international conference in Constantinople at the end of 1858, Montenegro received a significant territorial expansion. Many European newspapers wrote about this battle. A monument was erected in memory of the winners. The quadrangular memorial - obelisk is made of white marble, it is 10m high and the thickness gradually decreases from 1.30m at the base to 0.50m at the top.
Grahovsko Lake
The lake is located about 500m downstream of the Grahovska River. It is located at an altitude of 780m. Walking around the lake, you will encounter a beautiful coniferous forest through which forest paths lead further on. Throughout the year, the lake is a real attraction for visitors and tourists, especially in the summer. The lake is filled with water all year. It is a reservoir of water for the needs of agriculture, a place for sports, recreation, walking, fishing and swimming during the summer months, etc. Whoever visits this lake will admire its wild beauty.
The botanical garden (Arboretum)
The botanical garden (Arboretum) of the Kovačević family is the first protected natural property that has the status of a natural monument. It was built by the late General Vojo Kovačević on his estate in Grahovo, bringing plants from all continents. This botanical garden represents a unique horticultural entity with about 127 autochthonous and allochthonous species of trees, bushes and lianas (including their lower systematic categories) of specific phytogeographical, taxonomic and ecological features. Spatially and compositionally, it consists of three units: the alpine garden, the courtyard and the park area. There are species that are not found anywhere else in Montenegro except in this park.
