Tadić

The Tadić household is located in the village Vir, 14km from Nikšić, near the main road Risan - Nikšić - Žabljak. All the advantages of location, climate, tradition and hard work are visible at first glance. From the asphalt, on the short macadam road to the house, the friendly hosts welcome the guests. The house is large and a garden full of flowers of all colors has a positive effect on the visitor. You can feel the pleasant atmosphere and, therefore, the mood is at a very high level. The offer of accommodation includes one apartment and three double rooms.

The household is engaged in the production of fruits and vegetables, honey, brandy and juices. They have the necessary equipment for the production of brandy, so they often offer brandy making services to third parties. They are unique in Montenegro for the production of hand-knotted woolen carpets with motifs according to the customer's wishes. The orchard and large garden near the house are full of fruits and vegetables of various kinds during the summer and autumn. The visitor who finds himself in this area will be charmed by the beauty, friendliness, quality of the food, the opportunity to learn the way in which brandy and juice are produced, as well as how a carpet of superior quality and design can be woven by hand and what is the time necessary for it. Guests are welcome and the locals are ready to show and involve you in all the jobs you are interested in.

In the vicinity of the household, there are hiking and cycling trails, important historical monuments, the hydrographic uniqueness of the "Gorenjepoljski vir" - estavelle that is 94m deep - the deepest in the Dinarides. Gornje Polje is the northern part of Nikšić field. In this field, the river Zeta is created from the rivers Rastovac and Sušica. Unique hydrographic objects are expressed in this area; estavelle Gornjepoljski vir and occasional water source Vidov potok. Gornje Polje is an area where all agricultural crops thrive, but mostly plums from which various products are made. The production of plum brandy is a long tradition and the most common drink that the locals will serve you. Many residents have recognized the importance of connecting agriculture and tourism, so the services are constantly being improved, and hard-working householders traditionally equip their houses and open rural households.

Estavelle

Estavelle, which is the largest and most distinctive one is located at the highest altitude (628m) among all the estavelles of the Dinaric area, is a rarity even in the world. Estavelle functions as a strong hot spring from October to May (although this is largely caused by the amount of precipitation in that period), and later the water level decreases because it acts as a pit. Before the water "boils" in the fall, there is a big bang, i.e. the so-called "bursting of the water". Estavelle is circular in shape, 94m in diameter and 90m deep. Estavelle was protected and declared a natural monument in 2014.
